iPSC July News Round Up1) These three countries deserve a mention for their recent stem cell innovation:

  • Japan approved its first ever allogeneic stem cell product.
  • Canada made headlines after a cord blood donation became the first stem cell transplant among siblings from a public cord blood bank.
  • Britain’s embryology regulator received an application to genetically modify an embryo, which would be the first since a Chinese attempt earlier this year.
