In recent years, exosomes have emerged as promising and sensitive cancer biomarkers for use in disease diagnosis. Exosomes released from cancer cells after entering the circulation are transported in biological fluids along with their functional cargoes. Profiling the nucleic acids of exosomes derived from cancer cells by ultrasensitive next-generation sequencing and proteins by large-scale high-throughput proteomics can help us in early cancer detection, therapeutic stratification, and monitoring patient-specific responses to various cancer therapies. Stem Cell Physicians Expand Exponentially
20 years ago, stem cell physicians were nearly nonexistent. Ten years ago, only a small number offered a limited range of procedures. Today, hundreds of physicians provide stem cell treatments, including injections and infusions.
To date, the U.S. FDA has approved 43 cell and gene therapy products, eight of which are umbilical cord blood derivatives. These include ALLOCORD, CLEVECORD, HEMACORD, and Ducord, as well as four hematopoietic progenitor cell (HPC) products developed by Clinimmune Labs, MD Anderson Cord Blood Bank, LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, and Bloodworks.
As the FDA states, “The only stem cell-based products that are FDA-approved for use in the U.S. consist of blood-forming stem cells (hematopoietic progenitor cells) derived from cord blood. These products are approved for limited use in patients with disorders affecting the blood production system.”
The U.S. FDA has also approved a number of CAR-T cell therapies (7), as well as 15 gene therapies that are not CAR-T cell therapies and 12 cell therapies that are not cord blood derived therapeutics.
Beyond these FDA-approved treatments, a wide range of stem cell therapies are now available directly to patients.
A Rapidly Expanding Market
Over the past decade, the number of physicians offering stem cell treatments has grown exponentially. These therapies involve stem cells derived from various sources, including:
- Bone marrow
- Adipose tissue
- Peripheral blood
- Umbilical cord blood and tissue
- Placental blood and tissue
- Amniotic fluid and tissue
Currently, over 425 medical clinics provide stem cell services directly to patients.
Due to the rapid growth of this sector, many clients have requested a comprehensive, searchable, and sortable database of stem cell treatment providers. In response, we have undertaken this task to streamline access to critical provider information.
As a market research firm specializing in the stem cell industry, BioInformant understandably has no control over the regulatory compliance of these medical centers. This responsibility falls squarely under the purview of the U.S. FDA, European EMA, Japanese PMDA, and other regulatory bodies worldwide.
Database of Stem Cell Physicians (425+ Clinics)
Featuring 425+ clinics, the “Database of Stem Cell Treatment Providers” was developed for our own purposes, but we have had more and more clients requesting access to it. This database was created to help viewers to instantly identifying physicians who offer stem cell treatments/therapies within the scope of their medical practice.
This searchable, sortable Excel database includes:
- Name of Medical Center/Clinic
- Name(s) of Physicians
- Types of Conditions Treated
- Types of Stem Cells Administered
- Website
- City
- State
- Country
- Phone
Created for physicians and industry executives, it can be applied for a wide variety of applications.
For biotech and medical device executives, it can be used to:
- Identify physicians who would be end-users of your products or services
- Identify growth of your target market segment
- Geographically segment your target market
For physicians and medical providers, it can be used to:
- Assess current levels of market competition
- Identity your competitors, including recent market entrants
- Review the services offered, conditions treated, and stem cell types administered by your competition
It took our team months of intensive research to uncover the identities of these medical centers and compile detailed information about each one. We searched Google for hundreds of relevant keywords, poured over entries within medical directories, and importantly, called and emailed directly with a multitude of physicians.
The end result is the world’s only searchable, sortable database of stem cell treatment providers that is continuously updated. You can claim it here.
