Unwanted cell removal and cell sorting can be easily performed at high-speed.
TORRANCE, Calif. – Kataoka-SS America, a US subsidiary of Kataoka Corporation Kyoto Japan, has launched its sales of their Cell Processor CPD-017 to the U.S. market. Kataoka`s Cell Processor uses laser technology to scan, identify, and irradiate spontaneously differentiated cells without dissociation or applied stress to the cells.
With the CPD-017, the process time of purifying induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) is significantly reduced and the adherent cell colonies can maintain a stress-free healthy condition. The CPD-017 uses a unique light-responsive polymer technology to gently and accurately kill the unwanted cells without disturbing the surrounding cells.
