Cell Symposia is honored to be hosting this year’s annual conference, “Translation of Stem Cells to the Clinic: Challenges and Opportunities.” This year’s event will be hosted at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, CA from December 2-4th, 2018.
The goal of the event is to bring clinicians, basic stem cell biologists, and cell manufacturing and pharmaceutical stakeholders together to discuss the challenges and opportunities for clinical translation of stem cell research and to help synergize efforts taking place in a variety of systems at diverse stages in the process.
Extended Abstract Submission (Deadline August 3rd)
Abstracts received before the abstract deadline will be considered for poster presentations and a limited number of oral presentations. If your abstract is accepted, it will be included in our online abstract booklet that will be distributed to all conference participants.
Any abstracts submitted after the deadline will be eligible for poster presentations only. Please also note that we can only allow one abstract per presenting author.
The extended abstract submission deadline is August 3, 2018, so click here to submit your abstract before it is too late.
Cell Symposium 2018
Stem cells have long been praised for their promise in clinical application, and their potential is starting to show real signs of progress.
Advances in stem cell differentiation, manufacturing, and genome editing technologies are pushing the field forward, and applications of pluripotent and somatic stem cells are making strides in the development of therapeutics for a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
Therefore, this year’s symposium will address the following themes:
- Clinical Trials
- Gene Therapy
- Transplantation
- Differentiation
- Disease Modelling
- Regulatory Challenges
