Only a Few Seats Left for AAOSCP’s Scientific Congress & Workshop in Miami (Aug 2-4, 2019)

AAOSCP Conference

Workshop features BM, SVF, UCB, Peptides, Cytokines and Exosomes under the same roof.

The American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians (AAOSCP) is hosting an August 2-4, 2019 conference that is filling up fast. With only a few seats left, medical practitioners who are seeking to learn skills and techniques for integrating regenerative medicine (RM) into their practice are encouraged to register immediately.

Hosted at the Hyatt Regency Miami, the event will feature hands-on trainings, as well as didactic lectures covering topics from Basic Science to Clinical Practice. It will include three days of educational and social events with leading physicians and pioneers from the fields of stem cell, live cell, and regenerative medicine.

AAOSCP’s May 2019 Scientific Congress and Workshop

AASCP offers various events, throughout the year, tailored for doctors and the research community. The AAOSCP hosted a January 2019 “Conference Cadaver and Live Workshop” in Miami, Florida, that sold out in less than 3 weeks. The AAOSCP’s May 2019 Workshop was even bigger, featuring a “see one, do one, and teach one” approach to training.

As stated by Dr A.J. Farshchian, a spokesperson for AAOSCP: “This particular meeting is historical for all of us within the field of stem cells, because this is the first time that qualified candidates can take the Board Certification Exam. The exams questions were written by experts such as Dr Joseph Purita. The written exam will be followed by an oral exam. At that time qualified physicians will be considered a diplomate of the board. This process is supervised by 8 qualified physicians and educators including our current acting president Dr Martin Dayton.”

With demand for these events on the rise, physicians and other medical professionals are increasingly seeking opportunities to learn how to safely integrate stem cell techniques into their practice. Frequently, practitioners turn toward regenerative medicine when they realize that conventional approaches will not adequately serve their patient population or will unnecessarily expose patients to invasive surgeries and procedures. To prepare medical professionals for advances within this rapidly evolving field, the AAOSCP’s August 2019 Workshop will provide direct hands on experience on both live patients and cadavers.

The interactive workshop will also feature small participant-to-instructor ratios with a customized curriculum focusing on developing hands-on skills. Each technique will be taught by experts in the field, using didactic sessions with dynamic multimedia presentations, live demonstrations and scanning on live model, as well as phantoms. On the final day, the event concludes with a black-tie award ceremony in which participants will receive their certificate of completion.

As stated by Scott Gottlieb, M.D. and Peter Marks, M.D., Ph.D., “The FDA is witnessing a surge of cell and gene therapy products entering early development, evidenced by a large upswing in the number of investigational new drug (IND) applications.” With regenerative medicine becoming an indisputable trend, it is essential that physicians become educated about these practices and join a community of like-minded practitioners.

The AAOSCP’s August 2019 Workshop will count for 8 CME credits towards your license. Register now at this link, because limited space is available, and attendance will be granted on a first come, first serve basis:

Please be aware the registration for the upcoming workshop will close on July 27, 2019.

About the AAOSCP

The AAOSCP is an organization created to advance the research and development of therapeutics in regenerative medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease related to or occurring within the human body. Its aim is to be an educational resource for physicians, scientists, and the public in diseases that can be caused by physiological dysfunction that are ameliorable to medical treatment.

The AAOSCP’s workshops are open to all members of the medical community, including: D.O.s, M.D.s, D.C.s, N.D.s, O.M.D.s, C.M.D.s., D.D.S.s, D.M.D.’s Ph.D.s., and D.P.M.s.
