Olathe, KS – Ronawk, the biotech and biofabrication company powered by the Bio-Block™ platform, today shared that they have agreed to be the platinum sponsor of TERMIS-Americas in Boston April 11-14, 2023.

TERMIS is focused on “Advancing Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine Worldwide To Generate Knowledge With A View To Improving Patient Outcomes Globally”. The event itself is focused on “Tissue Engineering Strategies For Human Health and Longevity” which aligns perfectly with the goal of the Ronawk team to accelerate research for next-generation therapies.

Ronawk will be introducing members of TERMIS and attendees of the event to the Bio-Block Universe for the first time. The 3D hydrogel scaffold is unique in that it utilizes biomimicry in a 3D environment that allows cells to grow in vitro like they do in the body.

Ronawk is fresh off of being the platinum sponsor for the ARMI/BioFabUSA conference called “Fall 2022 Meeting in the Millyard” hosted in Manchester, NH in late October. where they introduced their 3D hydrogel scaffold to the members of ARMI.

ARMI is the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute which is a member-based, nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance the bioeconomy of the United States. The institute’s work will positively impact not only manufacturing but also healthcare and education & workforce development for the nation.

BioFabUSA, a program of ARMI, is working to save people’s lives, address the medical needs of injured U.S. soldiers and greatly improve the lives of people living with debilitating health conditions.

Ronawk is working collaboratively with these organizations to partner with members to offer advanced cell culture technology to automate cell culture processes, decrease time to result, lower contamination risks, and massively increase the scalability of cell culture.

Ronawk is on a roll recently as they also just published a paper in the October issue of Regenerative Medicine. The article entitled “Novel Hydrogel System Eliminates and Improves Retainment of Non-Senescent Mesenchymal Stem Cell Populations” demonstrates the significant impact of Ronawk’s hydrogel Bio-Block™ system on the cell culture process and the ability to remove the need for subculture from the process to improve consistency and repeatability and to increase scalability.

About Ronawk, Inc.

Ronawk’s Bio-Block Universe™ is the first expandable Bio Platform from which biotechnology applications, processes, and technologies can be developed. Ronawk’s Bio-Block Universe accelerates time to result by eliminating the need for subculture in cell production which subsequently decreases contamination risk and increases cell yield. Ronawk’s Bio-Blocks™ are a customizable platform for consistent, repeatable, and scalable cell production that accelerates research into next-generation therapies.

Ronawk’s Bio-Block Universe transforms what was once tedious into effortless by simplifying cell culture workflows by reducing labor, consumables, and space. Ronawk’s Bio-Block technology utilizes biomimicry of soft tissues to streamline the process of growing cells outside the body in a manner that more closely resembles how cells grow naturally in the body. This increases biological opportunities by allowing cells to build their own microenvironment while maintaining cell viability, key characteristics, and secretion of therapeutic biologics.
