8 Best Anti-Aging Stem Cell Creams On The Market Today

best anti-aging stem cell cream

Looking for the best anti-aging stem cell creams available today? A lot of companies claim to incorporate the benefits of plant stem cells, human cells, and human growth factor into the best anti-aging serums on the market. Among these are CALECIM®, Dermaquest, E’shee, Zelens, and Lifeline Stem Cell Skin Care. Below, we present what appear (based on company claims) to be the best anti-aging stem cell creams available.

8 Best Anti-Aging Stem Cell Creams with Visible Results

As a publisher of stem cell news, we haven’t traditionally wandered into the murky world of claims made by beauty products suppliers. For obvious reasons, we can’t guarantee the accuracy of the claims made by these companies or the presence of specific active agents within them.

However, we get approached daily with questions about this topic and know that people are actively seeking information about it from a source that: 1) Doesn’t inflate the claims, and 2) Understands the science.

For this reason, we have decided to share with you what appear to be intriguing skin care options, coupled with a warning reminding you that the stated claims may or may not be accurate. As with all cosmeceuticals – defined as a cosmetic that has or is claimed to have medicinal properties – use your own judgement and realize your personal results may be the most accurate information you can collect.

Finally, these are not product recommendations, but a review of what is available in the marketplace today. With that said, let’s dive in!

1. CALECIM® Professional Multi-Action Cream

There are not many stem cell creams that can boast of an endorsement of a peer-reviewed publication; the CALECIM® Multi-Action Cream has two: one for general rejuvenation of the face, and another that confirms that this topically applied cream can indeed improve skin elasticity and turgor.

The technology behind its efficacy is developed from the brand’s patented and ethically sourced stem cells. The CALECIM® skincare range is rich in PTT-6®, a concentrated complex of growth factors and exosomes that are secreted by cord lining stem cells. One milliliter of PTT-6® is reported to contain over 3,000 active growth factors and exosomes, making it easily the most concentrated stem cell-derived product in the market.

The company’s in vitro studies are impressive, with results that show aged skin cells increasing elastin production by 56% and hyaluronic acid expression by 83% when exposed to PTT-6®. The range of skincare is already being used in hundreds of aesthetic clinics around the world to improve patient recovery and maintain treatment results.

2. Dermaquest Stem Cell 3D Complex

Based on company specs, Dermaquest appears to be one of the best stem cell anti-aging serums on the market today. It is made up of a potent mixture of plant stem cells, notably meristem, and some good peptides. It is stated to be particularly effective in combating fine lines on the face.

Meristem is the tissue in most plants containing undifferentiated cells, found in zones of the plant where growth can take place. Logically, this is an intriguing agent to include.

Interestingly, a search of the scientific literature reveals that an astounding 7,486 publications to date reference the term “meristem.” However, when that term is searched in conjunction with the term “cream,” the number of scientific publications drops to only two. When it is searched in conjunction with the term “beauty,” there are four publications.

The key takeaway from a scientific perspective? The product has interesting ingredients, but scientific support for it is limited.

3. Lifeline Firming Eye Complex

Firming Eye Complex is another interesting consumer brand. Priced at $89 for 0.5oz of the product, the company states that it contains peptides from human stem cells and that its nutrients work towards:

The main concern here is the company’s lack of an explanation for how it sources human stem cells. Most human stem cells are now collected from living adults – most commonly from fat (adipose) tissue, bone marrow, or peripheral blood – making them non-controversial. However, stem cells do require sourcing from human donors. At $89 per bottle, this pricing seems a bit too good to be true.

Are the company claims true? Hard to say, but the brand has collected a wide range of positive customer reviews. Our best guess based on limited information? We think perhaps the other active ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, jojoba, and vitamin E, could be producing positive consumer perceptions.

4. Zelens Stem Complex

Designed by Dr. Marko, Zelens Stem Complex states that it uses ingredients which boost the self-renewing ability of stem cells and help the rejuvenation of the epidermal stem cells to combat signs of aging. At £190.00 for a 50ml (1.7 Oz) bottle, this product have a reasonably big price tag.

Ingredients in the product and their corresponding effects are described by the company as:

It is hard to say what degree of credibility Dr. Marko Lens lends to this product, he is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing in London and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. His physician profile explains that his “deep knowledge of skincare and anti-aging also includes the study of Japanese Kampo medicine, based on the powerful healing properties of botanicals.”

While it is good to see a physician behind this product, it would be more powerful to see multiple people within the scientific or medical fields endorsing it. For now, perhaps, it could be worth testing, as long as you consider yourself a “study of one.”

5. Hydropeptide Hydrostem+6

If company claims are true, Hydrostem may also be one of the best anti-aging stem cell creams in the market today. Priced at $160 for a 1 oz bottle, this product is in line with pricing for other stem cell creams on the market. As stated in the Product Description: “Hydro Peptide hydrostem+6 uses a potent combination of stem cells and peptides to fight wrinkles, firm the skin, and support its natural repair process.”

Interestingly, client reviews note that due to its plant stem cell content, it has a distinct odor that can be off-putting. However, users also note visible improvements on the fine lines of the skin within a few weeks of using this product.

If you’ve tried this product, let us know if the comments if you agree with these promising claims – or if they may be overstated.

6. Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Overnight Cream

According to company claims, Juice Beauty’s anti-aging cream uses fruit stem cells from apples, lemons, grapes, and aloe juices. It also contains jojoba and shea butter to make it a smoothing moisturizer. Its other ingredients are:

Sold for only $75 for 1.7 ounces, it is priced at the lower end of the spectrum for anti-aging stem cell cream. Its Product Description states that it is an: “Intensive hydrating cream formulated with the science technology of vitamin C and fruit stem cells infused into an organic resveratrol rich grapeseed base and combined with olive derived squalane.”

While stem cells from fruit is not an area where there has been prolific peer-reviewed research, its an interesting company claim. Importantly, there are other ingredients in this product that are well-known for their skin enhancing effects, such as shea butter, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid.

What are the ingredients among the spectrum of claimed ingredients in this product are creating a therapeutic effect? With an ingredient list this long, it’s hard to say:

On the upside, client reviews do appear to be both plentiful and favorable.

7. ReLuma Skin Illuminating Anti-Aging Serum

According to company claims, ReLuma’s anti-aging serum is a blend of stem cell technologies derived from adult stem cell matrix proteins and hundreds of human growth factors. This treatment is described as:

TruthinAging.com wrote an in-depth review of this product. The post got 109 comments, so while there is little scientific evidence to confirm the company’s claims, interest in this product appears to be robust.

8. E’shee Cellular Repair Serum

Last but not least, E’shee serum was patented by Professor Chiu of Ohio State University. According to company claims, it is manufactured with bioengineered FGF1 gene or the human acidic fibroblast growth factor, which has the potential to:

Priced at $179 for 0.34 ounces, this product is priced on the higher end for anti-aging stem cell creams. Because client ratings on this product vary substantially from site-to-site, so it may be best to do you own testing with this product.

Which Anti-Aging Stem Cell Creams Have Your Tried?

Anti-aging stem cell creams are flooding the market and it’s important to be vigilant about which products are truly effective. A hefty price tag doesn’t always guarantee the results. Claims of active ingredients don’t guarantee they are present. Moreover, even a confirmed presence of the active ingredient by a third-party testing audit doesn’t necessarily substantiate the claimed effects of those ingredient(s).

It is important to remember that cosmeceuticals are a loosely regulated area of medicine and a healthy level of user skepticism is encouraged.

However, there are hundreds of user reviews for many of these products, so the possibility for the ingredients within these skin care products to improve the quality and appearance of your skin may well exist. Additionally, many of these stem cell anti-aging creams are loaded with other better vetted skin care ingredients, so you could benefit from them due to effects wholly unrelated to stem cells.

For the efficacy of these products, the only clear answer is that timing and testing will tell!
