October 2017; 111 Respondents
“The focus of this survey was to determine the factors involved in an expectant parent’s decision to privately store, publicly donate, or discard a newborn’s cord blood.”
It is critical for cord blood banks to understand the needs and expectations of their prospective clients. For this purpose, an electronic survey was distributed to recent and expectant parents in the United States. The survey link was distributed in Facebook groups related to pregnancy and early-child parenthood during September and October 2017, collecting a total of 111 responses.
These findings can now be accessed and implemented into your cord blood bank, without the time and expense of distributing your own survey.
